Dear Dr. Eghbali,
As the representative of Huelva University, as an Affiliate member, in the UNWTO, it is my pleasure to congratulate your higher education institution for the well-deserved recognition awarded by the UNWTO, supported by its Secretary-General, Mr. Rifai.
The first internationally classified Certificate of Invention in Tourism in Iran, on Management Process and Quality Control of Different Special Interests Tours, is undoubtedly a prestigious recognition to the efforts made by Professor Mohammad Sharif Malekzadeh over many years in different outstanding positions and in your university. So, please, let me congratulate all of you for this award.
Tourism is an invaluable opportunity for intercultural exchanges, mutual understanding and peace, being our responsibility to preserve the legacy we have received from past generations and present it to visitors under a sustainable approach.
It is well known, that the Iranian cultural heritage (tangible and intangible) has an enormous value, it is in fact a great wealth for humanity, and the efforts made for its preservation, interpretation and accessibility to national and international visitors is a generous task to be undertaken in favor of future generations.
Although unfortunately I cannot attend the ceremony in which this letter will be read, it is important to say to all the attendants that Huelva University is open to learn from your expertise in this area of tourism under the basis of mutual cooperation. My'land is also full of natural and historic endowment.
Once again, let me congratulate you, Dr. Eghbali, as President of Edalat University, and Mr. Malekzadeh, for this prominent achievement.
